Call for Official Showcase Applications
Applications for our 2023 Official Showcase in Seattle, WA are open!
Eight artists/ensembles will be selected to perform at the showcase – part of the 2023 WAA Annual Conference — for an audience of presenters, agents, and other performing arts professionals from the West and beyond.
The showcase, which will highlight artists from across dance, theater, and music disciplines, will be held at the Broadway Performance Hall on September 6 and 7 – the second and third days of the four-day convening.
Performing artists from all traditional, classical, contemporary, and culturally specific art forms are eligible to apply. Applications will be reviewed by a peer jury of arts practitioners representing a broad range of disciplines, aesthetics, and identities.
The deadline to apply is 5pm on March 8; applicants will be notified on May 1.
