BAM! Baird Artists Management Merges with Music City Artists

Robert Baird, President of BAM! Baird Artists Management, is pleased to announce the merger of his company with Music City Artists of Nashville, TN. “It was time for me to consider my successor. I wanted to place my artists with someone I trust and respect, and Charles Ray, President of Music City Artists, is that person.” As of June 1, 2013, Mr. Ray has taken over day‐to‐day responsibilities for both agencies and the representation of BAM! artists. “I am proud that Robert has entrusted his company and his artists to Music City Artists. Since BAM! and MCA are part of Team Agent Network, it seemed a natural transition,” noted Mr. Ray, who also serves as President of Team Agent Network (TAN). Team Agent Network (TAN) is a cooperative of several agencies which collectively represents a roster of over 200 artists. Mr. Baird’s role in the industry will be more of a consulting and advisory nature and he will not be as active at conferences.

Mr. Baird is currently President of North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents (NAPAMA), Showcase Producer Liaison for the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP), Vice‐President of Festivals and Events Ontario , and Chair of Team Agent Network (TAN).
