Tell us about your work
I’m the creator and star of 8 one woman shows (including Suddenly Mommy and MILF Life Crisis). I also do TV, film, and voice work. I have the pleasure of performing my solo shows in theatres, PACs and comedy clubs across The US and Canada. And I am in development for a sitcom based on my live comedies. So, my work… is awesome
How old were you when you knew you wanted to be an artist, and where were you?
I was 4 years old when my aunt Barbara (Ciocia Basia- I’m Polish) asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. My first thought: You get to just choose? So I burst out “A movie star!” Then when she said, no, that wasn’t realistic (or something like that) my second thought was: don’t tell Ciocia Basia anything anymore. She doesn’t get it!
If you were on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring?
Well, I’d bring my laptop, to write my shows and edit my videos, an awesome video camera, and my yoga mat. Momma loves the yoga.
What is the best advice you’ve gotten from your mentor or a WAA Member?
Greg Phillips said: “Your career isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon.” It was very encouraging because I tend to want some big break! Now! To change everything! But the truth is a nice full schedule of solid bookings, year after year, is success.
Name an artist you’d love to meet and why?
Kevin James. Because his path is my path. I understand going from solo show to TV series to feature films.
If I weren’t doing this I’d…be drunk in a karaoke bar.
What are your 3 goals for 2016?
Make Suddenly Mommy into a TV special (like my previous show Not Getting It), get Network commitment for MILF Life Crisis, the TV series, and start the kids in Hesby.
What are you working on now?
Right now, performing a lot of MILF Life Crisis shows. But I am also writing: my feature film Princess Candy Cane (yes, another AMS starrer), my TV scripts MILF Life Crisis and Bad Mommy.
