20th Anniversary / Sabbatical in Mexico

Guanajuato, Mexico. Photo by Jiuquang Wang

October 1, 2017, marks my twentieth year as Executive Director of Western Arts Alliance. Wow! Where did the time go? To mark the occasion, I requested and the WAA Board has granted a three-month sabbatical, from October 1 – December 31 of this year.

I will spend the sabbatical in Guanajuato, Mexico, where I will enroll in a ten-week Spanish emersion program and volunteer with the Festival Internacional de Cervantino. In my absence, the very capable Jennifier Stewart will run the shop.

During my sabbatical, I will continue a few work-related responsibilities, but email will not be one of them. I will not save or respond to emails received while I am away. If you have any pressing issues during my absence, please contact Jennifier Stewart or WAA Board President Cory Baker.

I am constantly renewed by the good work, extraordinary performances, and passion of the WAA Membership, Board, and Staff. But, I’d like a little break. Thanks for your support.

Hasta Pronto!

Tim Wilson
Executive Director
Western Arts Alliance
