Sita recently returned from studying photography for a year in New York where she worked at Travel + Leisure Magazine and interned at Aperture Foundation. Previously, she held positions at Explo at Yale, Fir Acres Theatre and the Seattle Shakespeare Company.
Growing up in England with two art teacher parents, Sita swore she would never pursue a career in the arts. She graduated with a degree in International Affairs at Lewis & Clark College in 2014. While studying abroad in Cuenca, Ecuador, she researched presidential politics which became the topic of her senior thesis. She received a grant to present her findings at the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies, University of Texas. However, much to her dismay, her true passion remains film photography. She is excited to bring her background in visual arts and design to WAA!
