Fawn Douglas

Fawn earned a degree in Global Studies from the College of Southern Nevada. In 2015, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, obtaining a B.A. in Art, Painting and Drawing. During her time at UNLV, Fawn served as a proud member of UNLV Native American Student Association (“NASA”). Fawn currently teaches American Indian-Indigenous Studies as a Part-Time Instructor at UNLV. In her faculty role she has joined the UNLV American Indian Alliance and now serves as a Co-Advisor for the Native American Student Association. Fawn Douglas continues to shine. She was honored in November 2017 with the American Indian Community Leader of the Year Award. This prestigious award was given at the American Indian Achievement Awards in Carson City, Nevada. Fawn most recently was selected as Nevada Public Radio’s Artist in Residence for 2018. No matter what her accomplishments, her support at home is her greatest legacy. Her daughter Sol.
