The Conference Scholarship

Launching May 1: Registration Funding for Performing Arts Professionals in the West

Launching alongside conference registration on May 1, The Conference Scholarship provides support of up to $750 towards 2023 conference registration for performing arts professionals based in the Western U.S., generously supported by our friends at at WESTAF. Please note, you must apply for the scholarship prior to registering for the conference. Applications will be reviewed weekly.

We strongly encourage applications from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community members and those experiencing financial hardship. We do not want financial considerations to be a barrier to participation for our community.

Scholarship applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and close on August 9, or once all funds have been awarded.

The Western United States includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai'i, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Update: This opportunity is no longer available; as of May 23, scholarship funds have been exhausted. Should those already selected decline their scholarship, funds will be released. You can join the scholarship waiting list by reaching out to staff@westarts.org
